The goals and approach

Some of the most important policies governing the activities of the Imam Relief Foundation over the past years are as follows:

• The focus of all the activities of the Imam Relief Foundation is on the axis of providing relief and support to people and families in need, with an emphasis on preserving family unity, dignity and self-esteem. 
   
• The identification of the needy and efforts to alleviate their poverty, the completion and development of support coverage for women and children without guardians or those with incapacitated guardians, the elderly and the disabled in need as the first priority.
   
• Targeted and timely planned support for the needy, and the promotion of a work culture among covered individuals and families with the priority of creating employment for talented and qualified people.
   
• Providing health and treatment services, developing insurances and providing housing needed by the underprivileged with the approach of improving their living standards
   
• Providing facilities and grounds for cultural and religious growth and upliftment, and the emergence of creativity and innovation among the supported people, especially teenagers and young people.
   
• Expanding scientific-research, Statistical and new technologies activities regarding the recognition of factors of poverty and deprivation, identification of the poor and methods of poverty alleviation in the country and the effectiveness of support programs of Imam Relief.
   
• Promoting the culture of charity and self-sacrifice and strengthening people's trust in Imam Relief in order to attract and develop people's participation in supporting the disadvantaged in the society.
   
• Increasing the efficiency and development of support services by optimizing the organization of supply and training of the required human resources, modification and improvement of methods, calculation of real costs of services and using new information technologies.
   
• Using the capacity and facilities of other institutions and departments in carrying out tasks that can be assigned, in accordance with the policies and priorities of Imam Relief, in order to deal with poverty and implement poverty alleviation plans.
